Meet the Founder
A founder who is a pickleball enthusiast and inventor.
Melanie (Mae) Romero is a mechanical engineer and seasoned inventor who spends many hours a day on the pickleball court. Her frustration with current pickleball bags led to the creation of oktō, the Ultimate Pickleball Bag. Mae worked closely with a backpack designer that has decades of experience and has designed sports backpacks and gear for some of the biggest names in the backpack industry.
